Episode 8 recap - Dumb vs dumber

Graig is pretty upset at being labeled (inaccurately, he feels) a bully. He wants Bruno to help him get the votes to stay, and although Bruno does want to save him, he won't risk jeopardizing his own game. Bobby knows he's good if he just lays back, but decides to play up the nice guy "I don't want HoH" role. Sarah sees through it and calls him a phony.

Meanwhile, Zach and Ashleigh take things to the next level with a nice smooch. But both of them plan on keeping their relationship and their alliance a secret, as it may cause jealousy from Bobby and Willow. Zach almost appears to be wanting to pimp Ashleigh out to Bobby to control him.

Kevin has figured out there's something funny about the Have Not room, pointing out to Pilar and Jordan the alarm is controlled by specific tiles. They keep focusing heavily on this, and I'm super intrigued to find out why. It's also becoming a secret space for horndogs Zach and Ashleigh, with Zach hinting to Jordan that they've been doing stuff in there. Bow chikka wow wow.

The houseguests race around the house to collect shirts in order to win some money and an advantage in the next HoH. Godfrey badly wants it since he's losing an ally this week, and Graig also wants it as a bargaining chip. Zach is also trying hard, but he's not too bothered about HoH, he just wants money. Godfrey is the first to hit the button and thinks he's won, but finds out later he's missing a shirt. Zach manages to win the challenge just as Godfrey comes out with his last shirt. Good for him, but now the Chop Shop might expect him to win for them.

At the eviction, Graig puts Johnny on blast, saying he's insecure. Johnny happily votes him out and so does everyone else, in a 10-0 vote. Graig bolts out of the house without hugging anyone, but doesn't seem to be bitter. When Arisa tells him he might get to go back in, he doesn't really seem too enthusiastic. Fine by me, less competition for the good people.

The houseguests get started on their next HoH, which is a washing-themed obstacle course where they have to use shirts to spell out a word. Zach has a one letter advantage for winning the last challenge. There's also more money at stake. Is this Big Brother's way of bribing them to not throw challenges? Everyone gets started, and surprise surprise, Bobby isn't throwing it after all.

What the houseguests don't know is the veto has a secret power this week...either it takes two people off the block, or has to be used, depending on how the fans vote. Random pointless twists? That's just par for the course this season.
