Episode 17 recap - Hit the road

Godfrey is feeling great after taking himself off the block...almost like he's got the game in the bag. I wouldn't go that far dude, you're still not in a great spot. His replacement, Brittnee, is on the block for the 3rd time and doesn't feel good about it. Sarah is telling Brittnee that they shouldn't be seen talking so that nobody thinks they're close. Looks like Sarah might have a replacement for her though as she's also managed to build up a good bond with Willow, who is finally sick of doing Zach's bidding and is spilling the beans on Bobby's veto being a fake.

But who needs game talk when you can have silly tasks? Big Brother gives them a car in the backyard for them to simulate a trip across the country. There's fake snow when they go through the Rockies, an engine malfunction that strands Zach and Sindy, Sarah playing the part of a farmer's daughter, and even a Marsha Moose cameo! Yep, Willow bumps into her on the road...and Godfrey wants to eat her carcass.

Sindy hits the campaign trail, but Bruno explains he can't work with her if she's targeting Bobby. She has a productive talk with Zach, but it's Godfrey who seems to be pushing it the most as he wants people who can win comps to go after the showmances. Godfrey's less serious side this week involves trolling Brittnee with his failure to reassure her she's safe and flirting incessantly with her. There's a hilarious scene where Godfrey compares himself to Denzel Washington and claims he's 3.5% Caucasian to match Brittnee's interests, but all it gets him is a trip to the friendzone.

At the eviction ceremony, Sindy walks out again, and this time leaves without hugging anyone. She tells Arisa she feels like a failure, but really she was screwed no matter what. Sindy does get to play a part in the next HoH though...Arisa asks her questions, and one by one whoever is furthest away from her percentage is eliminated. Godfrey is the first houseguest to get out after doubting the sincerity of Sindy's tears over Jordan.

Well that's it for this week but I'm excited and slightly terrified for the triple eviction on the horizon. That really has the power to make or break the direction of the game.
