Episode 7 recap - Spool of lies

Are you ready to see the house turn upside down? This week, Brittnee is calling the shots, and her initial nominations are Kevin and Bobby, the two people who put her up. Whilst giving her speech, she strongly implies her target is Johnny, for writing her name down. But this is all smoke and mirrors - Brittnee actually has an elaborate plan to backdoor Graig, who has been a pain in her ass for a while. Johnny knows this and is putting on Oscar-worthy performance. Several other houseguets are in on it too, but Graig is so self-absorbed that he completely buys the charade. Move over, Chop Shop - the fembots are playing twice the game you guys ever were.

The veto draw plays out perfectly for Brittnee, as Graig is not picked and her alliance Johnny and Sarah are. Willow is chosen to host the competition, and reacts with more enthusiasm than most people when they are told they've won Big Brother. They also show the punishments that were picked up on the last episode, including an awkward segment on Jordan's ass in swim trunks that I'd rather not talk about too much, and Johnny getting a pie in the face in various ways. Graig got a letter from his family though, which managed to somewhat humanize him.

The veto competition is to unwrap rope from a giant spool and transfer it to another spool. Pretty cool challenge, but why the ridiculous white skin-tight outfits? As we get further along and motion sickness sets in, it becomes quickly apparent that this is much tougher than it looks. Sarah and Kevin both start vomiting and have to quit. Bobby and Brittnee also give up despite a fast start, as they fall afoul of knots. Johnny's paced-but-consistent approach pays off and he ends up winning the veto. Now you're nervous, Bobby.

When Johnny spends the night in the HoH room, Graig starts to get suspicious. Finally showing some awareness, he seems to now know he's going up, so he goes to Brittnee and Sarah to ask them for answers. Brittnee gives it to him straight...she's pissed at him for talking down to her and acting like she's under his thumb. Graig appears flabbergasted and blames this all on Johnny's lies.

At the veto ceremony, Johnny uses the veto on Kevin, in order to ensure Graig goes up and the bully gets what's coming to him. He hashtags "Ginger Ninja" and "604" on his way to the seat. Weirdo. Well, Brittnee's plan was executed to perfection. Unless of course the house decides Bobby is the bigger threat and Graig is a nice shield.
