Episode 10 recap - The split

Sarah and Johnny are on the block, and both lament what a flop the Hexagon was. Everyone is starting to pull away from Johnny, even Kevin, who is disappointed to learn he'll be playing the veto competition, since he thinks Johnny will expect him to return the favor and use the veto on him.

The veto involves firing tennis balls at targets with the houseguest's faces on them. Unfortunately for Kevin, you have to declare who you're aiming at, meaning he has to publicly break Johnny's heart by taking him down. Johnny and Sarah are both on the sidelines pretty quick, as Kevin manages to call Sarah's bluff and predict which targets she blocks. Brittnee shows some skills to knock Kevin out, but the final 2 are Bobby and Bruno. Bobby uses an amusing sniper position but it doesn't really do a lot. Bruno wins the veto, as he's a video gamer that is always shooting things. Is this really that comparable though?

Jordan congratulates Kevin on what a great game move it was to pick off Johnny, since he was already on thin ice with Bruno. But Johnny is pretty devastated by the betrayal, and the show really lays it on thick with funeral music.

Sarah gets a task from Big Brother, which really cheers her up. She has to hide stuff around the house and then collapse on the floor. It scares the shit out of the houseguests at first, until they realize it's a task and then they all have fun with it. They change into their scrubs, and once again Johnny comments on Zach being hot in costume. Godfrey is hilarious as he sits by Sarah's side trying to save her. Following instructions, they raid Sarah's bags and the fridge to find the clues that lead them to the vault, but they can't open the box without the key. Brittnee finds it on Sarah and they are able to revive her with the epipen. Their prize is a screening and some food, which is music to Have Not Willow's ears.

Bruno begins his birthday with a cushion message from the houseguests, but it gets better when his son sends him a card. But today is also the day where Bruno decides whether to use the veto or not. In the middle of the ceremony, Bruno is summoned to the vault, making Godfrey and Sarah very nervous. In the vault, Bruno learns Canada has granted him the ability to veto TWO of his nominations. Aaaand that's where they leave us.

Some cliffhanger when they didn't even really set up any other boot targets, eh? Nevertheless, I'm curious to see what Bruno has to say.
