The HoH challenge is to answer questions about a soap opera that they all filmed together. William and Sindy both leave early, and Dillon is eliminated on a question about himself. It comes down to a tiebreaker between Neda, Kevin and Gary...where Neda wins. Now she's excited to make some big moves and prove that she still has to play the game, even with immunity.
Neda wants Cassandra out since Gary told her she threw her name out for a backdoor the first week, and she's also trying to amass an army containing Dre, Jackie and Gary. Gary warns Karen to distance herself from Cassandra, which she is happy to do. Ika doesn't warn Cassandra when she starts getting nervous, but Jackie suspects they might go up together.
The houseguests are sent back to high school for the Have Not challenge. Players have to run across a beam and gather food whilst the cool kids (Gary, Karen, Dillon and Kevin) throw balls at them. Jackie makes it across without being hit, citing her experience dodging balls. Sindy falls in but still gets enough to survive. The four losers are William, Bruno, Demetres and Cassandra.
Cassandra senses that Neda is avoiding her, but is unable to get her 1-on-1. She finally does and throws Jackie's name out, which Neda uses as ammo to turn Jackie against her. Neda nominates Cassandra and Jackie together, in turn exposing Cassandra's many promises.
Ika gets snippy with Neda after nominations, claiming that Neda didn't consult her. Neda is irritated, but Bruno and Kevin convince her they need to stick with her. Jackie yells at Cassandra for throwing her under the bus.
The PoV competition is a fashion challenge...great comp to have 5 girls and a gay guy compete in. They have to pay attention to the clothes the houseguests are modelling, then recreate the look that was shown. The first set is beachwear, with Dre in a hot bikini. William knocks out Neda in the first round, which is rather embarrassing for the clothing designer. Jackie beats Ika in the next match-up. Emily then beats Cassandra and moves into the final with the fastest time. The next round is costumes from past competitions, and William beats Jackie. In the final round, they have to recreate Ika's club get-up, and William comes out on top.
Cassandra tries to manipulate William with tears and talk him into making a big move, since he feels like he isn't respected in the house. Dre is on board but is worried she would go up as a replacement. Gary tries to talk him out of it, which just stresses William out more. In the end, he decides not to use it.
Dre wants to keep Cassandra, and Gary does too, fearing he will be a target after she leaves. Ika tries to tell Cassandra she doesn't have the votes, but she doesn't take the hint. Cassandra starts gloating to the other contestants when they are all put on slop for breaking rules, then Jackie lets Ika know Cassandra has been talking bad about her, which pretty much ends any chance of Ika voting to keep her.
At the eviction, Cassandra pledges her loyalty to anyone who is loyal to her, which makes Neda laugh. It doesn't save her though, and she is voted out unanimously, with not many people sad to see her go. Perhaps her target was too big, perhaps she believed her own hype too much and got sloppy...or perhaps somewhere in between. Either way, the season is poorer without her.

BBCAN5 Week 2 recap
The house is still reeling from the drama that happened right before the eviction, where Gary and Cassandra got into a fight following Mark's claims that Cassandra told him Gary and Ika were spearheading his eviction. Cassandra does manage to repair the damage, but still needs Demetres to win HoH for her.
The HoH competition is to kick a football into a wall to achieve a high score. Everyone goes head-to-head in the first round. Neda beats William, Dre beats Jackie, Bruno beats Kevin despite trying to throw it. Dillon beats Sindy, Demetres beats Ika and Gary beats Emily. Neda kicks off the second round with a 7, which Dre, Dillon and Bruno are unable to beat. Demetres then scores a 17, which Dallas and Gary are unable to top. Demetres is the new HoH, which is bad news for Dillon.
Bruno feels like he has damage control to do after being on the wrong side of the vote, but Ika promises to smooth things over between him and Demetres. Dillon isn't willing to swalow his pride and go talk to Demetres, but Dallas, not wanting to make the same mistake he did last season, goes up and promises to not go after him if he keeps him safe. Demetres takes advantage of being HoH by schmoozing the ladies, particularly Ika.
Karen has a conversation with Jackie where she insists that Jackie had gone back on her original vote. Jackie adamantly denies this and gets so heated she has to be calmed down in the storage rom. Now Karen is pushing to get Jackie nominated, and Demetres is considering it.
Demetres nominates Emily and Dillon for eviction. Dillon consoles Emily as the two discuss the possibility of using the veto on eachother. Meanwhile, Demetres solidifies his alliance with Ika, Sindy, Neda, Bruno and Kevin. He's fanboying out at getting to work with all-stars, but if he's not careful, it'll be to his detriment.
The contestants have a chance to earn an advantage in the veto competition by performing an oreo dunk that impresses the judges. Dillon does a cartwheel for his. Demetres juggles (though his practice one of getting it off his pecs was much better). Dre dislocates her arm to get hers in. Emily pours a glass over her head. Neda does hers from a balcony. Dre is declared the winner.
For the PoV comp, the contestants dress up as oreos and have to soak up milk to fill their cups. Emily tries to use her hair. Soon, everyone except Demetres and Dillon fall out of it, so Emily helps her friend. Dillon falls multiple times, but powers through to win the PoV.
Demetres sets his sights on Dallas as his new target, but Cassandra wants to keep Dallas and suggests Kevin or Bruno instead. Cassandra lets Dallas know he's in trouble and tells him he has to push for Bruno. Dallas has a talk with Demetres to try and call a truce, and later Ika lets Dallas know she has concerns abut him. Dallas pulls the veterans together for a meeting to try and get them to stick together, but Kevin isn't receptive. Ika gets annoyed as she thinks he was being disrespectful.
At the veto ceremony, Dallas makes a scene and publicly declares Dillon as his next target. Dillon takes himself off the block and Dallas goes up. Dillon and Dallas continue to exchange barbs after the meeting and even Demetres gets in on it.
The houseguests are paired up for a task where they have to eat gross food and put smells
Cassandra and Dre win, and get a dinner date out of it. Demetres acts as waiter, and Cassandra gets confused by the French word "Superb". William and Kevin also get close, but Kevin reveals that it's not genuine on his part.
Emily tells Jackie and Dre that the newbies need to go after the vets before they take over the game. She also comes up with a plan for Dillon to be nice to Dallas and make their blow-up look planned, which works. Dallas then has to blow up on him a second time in retaliation.
At the eviction, Dallas uses his final plea to take aim at Sindy this time. Dallas is evicted unanimously by a 12-0 vote, and I'm surprisingly sad to see him go. He stirred up a lot of drama and was much more fun than Dillon. However, I think there'll be other crazies taking his place.

BBCAN5 Week 1 recap
8 newbies enter the house, which is a cool spaceship this season. Soon they are joined by 8 veteran players. Despite Neda trying to play dumb, they all seem pretty scared of her, whereas Gary gets a much warmer reception. Ika doesn't react well to any of them, especially Sindy. Arisa tells them they will be paired up - one newbie and one vet - for the first HoH. The pairs are:
William & Neda
Dillon & Bruno
Mark & Dallas
Demetres & Kevin
Dre & Ika
Karen & Sindy
Jackie & Cassandra
Emily & Gary
The challenge is for the pairs to hold eachother up over a pit. Dillon & Bruno just want to not be the first ones out, but they can't help it. Jackie & Cassandra are out next, followed by Emily & Gary. Demetres tries going lower, but he ends up pulling Kevin off. Sindy has to talk Karen through it when she starts struggling. Once William & Neda fall, Dallas decides to get a deal and drop. Dre reveals she doesn't want to be HoH, so does the same. Karen & Sindy win, and Sindy decides to give it to Karen.
Sindy wants the vets to all stick together so works on Karen to try and keep Neda safe. Gary is less committed and is already forming bonds with William. In the end, Karen nominates Mark and Demetres, who are both pretty shocked. Later, Karen backtracks and says she will backdoor a veteran if they win the veto. Sindy, Bruno and Kevin form a season 3 alliance called Menage a Trois...and Sindy lets Kevin know he's on Karen's radar.
A caveman-themed PoV sees the players having to find letter tiles with a boulder tied to their leg, then unscramble the letters to find a phrase. The girls all enjoy watching Mark in the water. Bruno is in the lead with Demetres right behind, but once Mark takes his boulder off, he quickly catches up. Ika is just trying not to get her hair dirty. Bruno gets the phrase first and wins the PoV. He then chooses not to use it.
Bruno and Kevin talk about wanting to keep Mark. Cassandra wants Demetres to stay and encourages him to get into a fight with Dillon, so that they know who his target is. Sindy lets Gary and Cassandra know they're the only ones who want to keep Demetres, so Gary goes to Ika to ask if this is true. Ika is furious that Sindy would speak for her and yells at her. Karen hears the vets are in shambles, and tells them "this is why none of y'all fucking won."
By a vote of 7-6, Mark is evicted from the house. Surprising to see such a close vote and even more surprising that all the vets weren't on the same page. Hopefully this leads to an epic house divide. Arisa then reveals the first shockwave twist: the viewers have voted to make one player immune until jury, and it ends up being Neda. Pretty lame twist if you ask me, but at least it guarantees one of the best players is gonna be there once it starts getting crazy.

BBCAN5 pre-season rankings
1. Bruno: I have Bruno as the frontrunner because he's a strategic player that probably didn't even show his full arsenal last time. I can see him getting along with all of the guys and most of the vets in this cast.
2. Kevin: For many of the same reasons as Bruno, I think Kevin is a strong contender here. I'm sure he's learned his lessons from his first game and is coming in well-prepared.
3. Dallas: There are plenty of warning signs that Dallas might go early again - he's stubborn and a drama magnet. But I also kinda have a good feeling about him. He's in a decent spot of not being one of the top targets but still likely to get into a majority.
4. Jackie: I think Jackie is the newbie to watch. She comes off a little ruthless and will probably be underestimated to start with. If she keeps her head down, then learns the game as she goes, she could be well-positioned for the win.
5. Neda: Probably the best player in this cast, and of this whole show. The problem is, everyone else knows it. She's coming in with a huge target on her back, but I don't want to fully write her off.
6. Mark: There's not really much more to this guy than looks, but those alone should help him coast for a while. If he can close the deal with a few comp wins, yeah, I could see it.
7. Cassandra: I'm a big fan of Cass and she's a great player but I think she's a big target and I don't think she'll be able to make the necessary changes to her game to overcome it.
8. Dillon: The best thing Dillon has going for him is that he's a big fan. But he also wants to win every comp, so he could be targeted as a threat sooner rather than later.
9. Sindy: There's a lot of negative baggage around Sindy, but she's not one of the big threats, so why would they target her? She's a capable comp beast and if she can avoid early attention, she might go underestimated.
10. Dre: I'm not sure what to think of Dre. She didn't seem super familiar with the show, but she's obviously smart if she's Masters student, so I'll give her a chance.
11. Ika: As entertaining as Ika is, she's not a particularly subtle player so she might find it hard to stay out of the crosshairs. She'll be willing to make big moves though, so hopefully she can get out the threats before they get her.
12. Demetres: This guy is not particularly likeable, but if he's able to bro-down with Dallas/Bruno/Dillon etc he could end up going deep, and from there, who knows?
13. Gary: I'm not sure if Gary has it in him to be a gamer. If you can't even handle slop, you probably can't handle the game. It's still possible, but of all the vets, he's the least likely to be able to pull it off.
14. William: I don't have high hopes for William. He's coming off as a villain early on, which makes people unlikely to trust him. I think there might be a culture issue too (he's French).
15. Karen: She's funny and a fan of the show, but age will work against her. No woman over 30 has even made it to the jury in BBCAN, and I don't think that will change.
16. Emily: I think Emily is super cute and is actually probably my favorite newbie. But she is not gonna win. She's too naive and out of her depth.
