You win some, you lose some. We had Cassandra kicking King Jared to the curb after he turned down a $100,000 haircut, but also Nikki following him out the door in that crazy double. I mean, better her than one of the other three, obviously, but now it's gonna get harder to get rid of the Paqs bros. Here's my extremely comp-specific power rankings:
1. Joel - The the freak show has finally taken over, and Joel is the best positioned of the three. The other side aren't mad at him, and he has the votes if he gets to the end. Will Nikki's public endorsement be the kiss of death, though? And he's gotta be worried that Cassandra picked Tim over him.
2. Tim - Phil and Nick have made it their mission to ensure a Canadian wins. But the jury segment also showed us that Tim's game may end up being respected after all. But under a Kelsey HoH, he'll probably hit the block again. Him vs Cassandra could be a toss-up.
3. Cassandra - Her HoH started so well, but she just couldn't help herself and had to seriously scorch all her relationships with the other side. That bizarre veto move killed any chance of the brothers working with her and possibly their jury vote too. And Jared is probably campaigning against her any chance he can.
4. Kelsey - She just lost her showmance, but the only circumstances in which Kelsey leaves this week is if she doesn't win HoH and the brothers win the veto. So the only reason she's this low is because there's high odds of that happening.
5. Philippe/Nick - As soon as I saw that HoH, I knew Nick was winning it (thanks, production). And they could possibly win comps all the way to the end. But there's very little room for error...3/5ths of the house are coming after them.

BBCAN4 Week 9 power rankings
After an emotional week like this, it's perfect timing that we get family members duking it out for HoH. Nobody could have predicted Ramsey leaving the way he did, but he made the only decision he could have in the circumstances.
1. Joel - With over half the house a target, Joel is still very safe. He's pretty much the only person the wishy-washy bros didn't consider going after. The Steve Moses parallels get more apparent every week.
2. Kelsey - I've never put Kelsey this high before. But I don't think she's seen as a threat anymore and people might think of her as someone good to bring to the end since she's already been evicted.
3. Nikki - Even though she's as harmless and hilarious as ever, there's been an anti-international sentiment in the house recently, and Nikki could go home just to ensure a Canadian wins.
4. Cassandra - Will likely sit next to Tim on the block if Jared is HoH, but if the house wants to break up a pair, it probably won't be by taking out the one that's useless at competitions.
5. Philippe/Nick - The brothers' delusions reached new levels this week. They think they're invincible, but the first time they touch the block they're in trouble. Their side does have the stronger competitors though.
6. Jared - Now is the time when comp threats become a priority to get out. Joel, Tim and even Cassandra to some degree all have him in their sights.
7. Tim - Tim's ego will be his downfall in the game. He couldn't last two seconds on the block without making sure everyone knew he wasn't not in control. He's pushing too many buttons and people are getting tired of him. Time to prove you're as good at this game as you think you are.

BBCAN4 Week 8 power rankings
Who knew Canada loved the Paq bros so much? Let's hope they don't let us down now that they're forced to pick a side. To hear who I think could be in their crosshairs, read further:
1. Tim - It's weird that Tim has been turning down alliances, but good that the offers keep rolling in. He still hasn't sniffed the block.
2. Nikki - That roulette wheel was likely our best chance of seeing Nikki in power, but I'm not too disappointed, since I didn't want Cassandra to go. Nikki changes her opinions like the wind so hopefully they'll be able to make up.
3. Jared - For whatever reason, people want to work with a solo Jared as opposed to seeing him as the threat that he is. Third wheel breaking up helps him immensely.
4. Ramsey - If anyone takes a shot at him, it'll be Cassandra. Other than that, he's pretty much in the clear.
5. Joel - It shouldn't be hard for Joel to stay off the block, since there are a lot of bigger targets around, but he could also be the pawn that goes home.
6. Philippe/Nick - Maddy really screwed their game this week by making everyone think they had a deal, when really it was just her own delusions. This HoH should buy them some much-needed time but I'm not sure if they're good enough players to come out of it with more allies than enemies.
7. Kelsey - She likely would've gone home against anyone other than Raul this week. If she goes up again, it'll be much harder for Cassandra to save her. Getting into a fight with Phil was not a good start.
8. Cassandra - She hustled so hard this week to get what she wanted, so it hurts me to put her so low, but she's lost trust with Nikki and Tm at the worst possible time, and people are getting sick of her game.
9. Maddy - She's so focused on her big move that she's missed the fact she ran a terrible HoH. Keeping everyone on their toes is just going to alienate them, and she'll be in for a rude awakening when she learns she hasn't made as much progress with Cassandra as she thinks.

BBCAN4 Week 7 power rankings
Well, Mitch leaving the game has blown it wide open...I had him down as a frontrunner almost every week. Had it not been for the fake eviction twist I'm sure he would've been sitting pretty, but since he waited until he was on the block to start being entertaining, I'm not too mad at losing him. Let's try and figure out where we go from here:
1. Tim - With Mitch gone, Tim is now the biggest potential power player in the house and he doesn't have a big target on his back like Jared. As much as he claims to love chaos, he usually ends up doing the smart thing.
2. Joel - His plan for surviving the block should be his plan for advancing in the game....lay low. The big players are gonna start throwing grenades at eachother now, so Joel should be able to step back and not get involved.
3. Jared - I'm not seeing Jared as this unstoppable force...his name has come up way too much for that. But he does have a lot of influence over the house and I think his allies will go before him.
4. Maddy - I can't believe how high I'm putting Maddy either, but she's a relatively small target right now.
5. Cassandra - If she can put aside her differences with Maddy, she has a really good shot of running this game. Her and Tim are becoming quite a power couple.
6. Ramsey - He's not quite off Cassandra's radar, and his secret deal with Jared might have been blown up now.
7. Nikki - We've seen more game from her now, as she campaigned hard for Mitch. But also, nobody really cares if she leaves and now she's gonna be a lot more isolated and disinterested.
8. Kelsey - She may have been the mastermind genius behind this vote, but a lot of people have talked about the negative energy that she brought back to the house. Now that they realize what a mistake it was to let her back, it won't take long for them to send her out again.
9. Raul - So much for his stock going up. Raul was a complete trainwreck this week and even Kelsey and Jared lost patience with him. He's a terrible ally who can't keep his mouth shut and just the Third Wheel's puppet. And now he has no other options, since he evicted his best friend.
10. Philippe/Nick - I don't think these guys have any idea how close they came to being evicted. If Jared wins HoH and gets them out, they'll never see it coming...and Mitch can tell them "I told you so".
1. Tim - With Mitch gone, Tim is now the biggest potential power player in the house and he doesn't have a big target on his back like Jared. As much as he claims to love chaos, he usually ends up doing the smart thing.

BBCAN4 Week 6 power rankings
With one of the wildest votes yet, Dallas was sent home this week, and if you weren't won over by his passion and emotion he showed after his exit, you never will be. I can't believe that we had a 90 minute episode and we still didn't find out who's coming back in the house, though. But it shouldn't affect my rankings too much, as let's be honest, they're both screwed.
1. Jared - This can't be seen as anything other than a fantastic week for Jared. He got out the person that was most vocally targeting him, he won the battle for numbers, and he might even be getting his closest ally back in the house.
2. Raul - Raul has grown on me a lot, he can be quite funny at times. He was super safe this week despite having just come off the block, and even if his side is targeted, I don't think he'll be the first choice to get rid of.
3. Nikki - Not sure why Nikki decided to vote against the rest of her alliance, but there's still a lot of bigger targets in the house than her.
4. Tim - His gummy koala system might have been intended to keep the blood off his hands, but a lot of people saw through it and are now wary of him. He's also gonna have to repair his relationship with Nikki again.
5. Mitch - I'm pretty sure Mitch is now the only houseguest to get his way on every vote. However, the returning player will probably out him for playing both sides and he's definitely not as under the radar as he once was.
6. Philippe/Nick - They've been playing the middle pretty successfully so far, but trying to keep Dallas was quite clearly a shot against Jared. It's hard to tell if their relationship is irreparable.
7. Joel - Ever since winning HoH, Joel's game has been on the downward slide. Tim almost turned on him, and now he votes on the wrong side of the numbers. He has the most to gain from Loveita coming back.
8. Ramsey - He's shown he can win comps, but being attached to Maddy is not good for him and he seems to have taken his eye off the ball. Oh well, at least he'll be able to boink her in the jury house now.
9. Cassandra - She campaigned hard for Dallas to stay and it didn't happen. That's probably gonna make her a target, and she's already been called out by Maddy.
10. Maddy - Well, Maddy may have survived the block, but I'm not sure how much of that was due to her. She's also screwed either way on the returning player front since both of them despise her. If there's no revolving door this week, Maddy will be the sacrifical lamb.
1. Jared - This can't be seen as anything other than a fantastic week for Jared. He got out the person that was most vocally targeting him, he won the battle for numbers, and he might even be getting his closest ally back in the house.
